Large port features. Small port convenience.

One of the greatest benefits with Valport is having so much so close. Everything you need is all nearby—from dry bulk facilities and open staging areas to warehousing and a ro-ro ramp. There are also large areas for manufacturing, construction, project cargo staging, crating, packaging and more.

Location and intermodal access

Just 60 kilometres southwest of Montréal, Valport serves one of Canada’s largest commercial areas. There’s major highway access to Ottawa, Montréal and Toronto. We’re just minutes from the U.S. border. And we’re directly linked with the CN, CP and CSXT railways.

Warehousing and storage

Valport has five major warehouses with 15,000 m2 of combined storage space. This includes 4,500 m2 of food grade storage with advanced climate controls. There are also 77,500 m2 of paved lay down area.

Berthage, depth, lifts, conveyors and ramps

No matter what you’re moving, Valport has the facilities to handle it. Our 1,106 linear metres of berthage can accommodate the maximum Seaway draft. Our fleet of payloaders, lift trucks and shunt trucks can move any type of cargo. Our conveyors can load up to 1,500 MT/H. And our shore cranes can lift up to 125 MT. Plus, we also have a ro-ro ramp.
